Civil War Photo Sleuth
I moderated a presentation by Vikram Mohanty about the very cool crowdsourcing platform, Civil War Photo Sleuth. They are working at the intersection of crowdsource, machine learning and human curation. As the name implies, this service is built to add metadata to civil war photos and documents. Our presentation starts at about the 2:08 mark. Thanks to my friend Vahur Puik , photo historian from Ajapak Estonia for bringing me in on this.
