I just downloaded the ImageIngester demo on Mac and am encountering some issues which makes me wonder if the demo is full featured?

1.  I tried to ingest ~400 images and only 100 came through to the new folder - is there a limit on the number of images that can be used with the demo?

The start source filename is: _MG_9359.CR2 and the end file name is: _MG_9881.CR2

I noticed that the log says that it's copying to:

        /Working/_PHOTO/1_P_Landing_Zone/RAW_Client_Project_20101210/0000-0000/Client_Project_000451.CR2

when the file is actually going into:

        /Working/_PHOTO/1_P_Landing_Zone/RAW_Client_Project_20101210/9781-9881/Client_Project_000451.CR2

2.  Keywords that I had set in ImageIngester are not showing up when I view the copied file in Bridge - is this supported in the demo?

I'm working on a MacOS 10.6.4 machine.

Thanks,
Frez

The first issue (# of images transferred) is solved:

I am using date based folder naming and because 300 of the photos were taken in the evening and 100 were taken after midnight, they were copied to two separate folders.

The second issue is still an issue:

Keywords set in ImageIngester are not showing up in Bridge or PS (CS5).

Frez--

First of all, there are no limitations in the demo other than that it stops after a fixed number of ingestions.

Keywords and other metadata not showing up is a very common problem because there are numerous causes.

First, determine if ANY metadata shows up by using the defaults for all the metadata templates, putting in one simple item (e.g., XYZ for City), and seeing if that show up. Make sure metadata is enabled (checkbox at top of main screen). As these problems are tricky to track down, let's do it offline. Email me with the results of this first experiment and we'll take it from there.
