While making a virtual set of a number of raw (.nef) images usiing expressions, I also get to view the xmp side care of each file.  I want to use these images for a slide show.  Is there a way to not see the xmp files or do I need to remove each one from my virtual set?  I'm using mac 0S X4.9

Not sure what's up with that.  You can select all the files and remove them from the catalog entirely. (use the filetypes metadata panel.)

Hi,

Click the Set you created and cmd/ctrl+click NEF under File Type.
