Just finished chapter 8.  Really good information in this chapter.  A lot of topics I haven't seen discussed in any other books I've read.  Here are a few of the highlights I really liked:

   1) Explanation of TIFF files and why to use them as well as how to setup preferences in Photoshop for them.

   2) Good explanation of proof files

   3) How to use layering to minimize the number of derivatives (great idea)

   4) How to use the DNG's embedded preview for great proofs and quick batch conversions

   5) Introduction to Caption Maker (a great script)

   6) Introduction to the Image Processor (another great script which I use all the time)

   7) Good info on when and where to use sharpening to minimize your derivative count (always been a problem for me)

8 ) Good explanation of catalog strategies for your derivative files.

I will be sure to put in a good review at Amazon when I'm finished.  Really looking forward to the final chapter.
