Yet another NEF vs. DNG Discussion...

Okay, I have read the discussions on NEF vs. DNG formats, and I have read Peter's arguements in his book for DNG. Now here is my question for all you Nikon shooters (and I am primarily looking for real world experience, not speculation, please):
Have you found the DNG format to be as flexible in ACR as the NEF is in Capture? I would appreciate you sharing your stories (with the details). While I have converted my files over to DNG, I still retain my RAW files in an archive. In other words, I am still very much up in the air on this one and would appreciate your thoughts. I'd love to hear more from Peter on this one too.
Incidentally, I shoot with Nikon D2 series cameras (in fine quality RAW).
