Extracting original raw file from DNG

If I convert a Canon 5D .cr2 raw file to DNG and embed the original raw file, can I later extract the original raw file in order to process it in Capture One, Canon DPP, or Aperture?
If yes, how can I extract the original raw from a DNG file?

Yes, it's a button on the DNG converter.
