Does anyone know how to change the urgency rating in Bridge on more than one file at a time? When I select more than one file>go into file info and change the urgency>make sure the box is checked>then select ok I can see that Bridge is updating the files but when it is finished nothing has been changed. If I do this with only one image, it works.

Thanks,

P.S. I am changing the Urgency to "None". The process works if I select anything between low and high.

I think you will need to do this in iView.  The only way to access Urgency in Bridge that I know of is to use Rank and File.

A script that resets Urgency would not be hard to write, for those who know how...

Peter,

The Urgency field is accessible from the Bridge File Info->Origin panel.  It's at the bottom of the panel.... at least on the PC anyway.

Tim,

Not really sure why you need to use the Urgency field; other than with Rank & File, but I do get the same problem.  I know that Bridge does not clear annotations.  It will only replaces them.  There are separate third party scripts for that.   It is strange however that it works fine on one file at a time.... probaby a bu.......  g.  Sorry, I have trouble saying that about Adobe software ;-).

The urgency field is also in file info>origin on a Mac. Not sure why I would need anything in the urgency field either but it seemed like a good idea at the time. Guess it was worth the learning experience.
