Beta of ImageIngester 1.5.0 Now Available

Seems to be working OK, but use with caution. Has auto-numbering of images, optional date folders, user-named folders, number-range folders, embedded raws in DNGs, and a few other minor features.
For the Mac only.
On a special beta page:
http://basepath.com/ImageIngester/download_main_new.php
.
Enjoy! (And send comments, or post here.)

Henrik--
The Mac and Windows versions have pretty much stayed in synch, but for this beta I just worked on the Mac because of the extensive UI changes. The Windows version will be along in a few days, weeks, or months, depending on how much time I have available.
(The main ingestion engine is portable--only the UIs are different code.)

10.3.9?
Marc, I'll be taking my little laptop with me to Europe next week, and would like to run ImageIngester. I have not had the guts (or a real reason yet) to upgrade this machine to Tiger. Have you gotten reports of ImageIngester running on 10.3? Have you gotten reports of it *not* running?

Peter--
No reports of it not running... Make sure you take 1.5.1, as the beta opened Bridge to the wrong folder if a number-range folder was used.

An update on 10.3.x: ImageIngester definitely will not run. (I installed 10.3.5 on an old Mac today so I could check.) Ditto for 10.2 and earlier.
The symptom of it not running is an immediate failure to launch, with no message. The icon appears on the dock for a second and then goes away. The failure to launch means that any attempt to display a message would be futile. (The Mach-o file is incompatible, for you techies out there.)
The problem isn't fixable without a huge effort, and I have no plans to fix it unless time starts going backwards. But, then, I never would have even started to develop ImageIngester, right? ;-)
