In prepping images for stock submission, kids names are only one of a number of kinds of metadata that you may wish to remove.
Right now the pictures are just for my personal collection, not business. However, I do give the pictures to my kids, their friends, the kids' sports teams, etc. Some I post on picture sharing sites so kids and parents can look at them. I'm sure some also end up on social sites, such as My Space or Face Book. I was just wondering what other people do in situations like these.
