NEF vs DNG?
«

I know I have to go back to the DAM book and re-educate myself, but am wondering about the advantage of converting NEF to DNG.
It's my understanding that IView does read camera settings info (unlike files from my Canon S70) and that, while I haven't worked with it, Nikon Capture is well regarded--perhaps more so than ACR for NEF files.
Futhermore, RSP display DNG file with a horrid green cast, which I'm told is a known problem, but they don't respond to my emails asking when this will be fixed.
So, what it the DNG advantage with D200 files?
I'lve also posted this in the DNG forum.
Thanks,
Reid
