I have the Adobe Bridge script 'BrowseBar' installed (gives you the file path).  After installing Rapid Fixer the top left-hand row of  Rapid Fixer options are hidden behind the BrowseBar.

Is there a way of moving BrowseBar or Rapid Fixer to be 100% visible?

I'm using Windows XP pro with Adobe Photoshop CS2 onscreen resolution 1,920 x 1200.

David,
Unfortunately, Browsebar is incompatible with RapidFixer, since Bridge can only load one at once.  Do you actually use Browsebar?

If there is something you find useful about it?  Are you using a large monitor?  It's possible that it could be incorporated in a future version, but Ii would have to check to see how much room it takes up.

Hi Peter

Maybe it's a PC thing but I like BrowseBar.  I use it to quickly copy and paste folder paths e.g. into the destination field of IFC (import from camera), third-party applications or simply to just navigate in Bridge.  It saves a lot of repetitive mouse navigation and clicking.  I frequently copy folder paths from Windows Explorer et al and paste into BrowseBar quickly by keyboard.  I'm thinking about making speech macros which would utilise BrowseBar to speed things up even further.

It would be great if a future version of Rapid Fixer supported BrowseBar.  I use a 23 inch screen hp lcd screen.

In the meantime I'll make the most of the favourites tab and experiment with Rapid Fixer which looks absolutely brilliant Smiley

Thanks

i know this is months after the fact, but i only recently got hip to Peter's DAM square after years of practicing many of the good habits, but not all of them, on my own without DAM software.

i use browsebar a lot, because i'm from a pretty heavy code-geek background and typing for me is generally far faster than browsing, and that's actually a (relatively significant but i can live without it) workflow issue. sadly, Adobe doesn't put browsebar up where it would be more useful, and has it down where Peter puts the Rapid Fixer buttons. so fine, death to browsebar for now, but i'm going to miss it.

i use a 21" monitor at 2048x1536pixels, 32-bit color.

Dawnne,
thanks for the chuckle...  Sorry about that - Bridge only offers  limited interface customization.
Welcome, we look forward to your geekiness here...
