Hello:
I am new to digital photography, and have yet to produce many images.  I have a G5 desktop Mac with Photoshop CS2.  I would like to adopt an excellent naming and filing system BEFORE I need to deal with many images.  I am reading "The DAM Book" page by page, and all has gone well until page 135.

I downloaded the utility by Bob Stucky "Import From Camera."  The "Reveal" button (figure 5-25) brings up a window "StartupScripts."   Photoshop 9 is contained therein.  Next, I dragged the downloaded folder "import from camera" into the "StartupScripts" window.  I then relaunched Bridge, but do NOT see "Import from Camera" in the Tools drop-down menu.
I have not yet seen the "Download Camera Images" window, as shown in figure 5-26, p. 136.   Since many actions come from this script (I have been reading ahead) I would really like to have it working.
Can someone tell what I have done wrong?
Many thanks,
Ron

Ron,
Try ImageIngester (discussed in this forum).  I think it is probably a better tool that IFC.  It did not exist when I wrote the book.
