DAM Book updates for MediaPro 3.x?

Peter,

I've finished your book and am ready to get going, however I now have the latest version of MediaPro (3.0.2) and there have been several improvements since your book was published. From reading through the forum I realize that you've covered some of the upgrades (such as star ratings) but do you have, or do you plan to create a sort of "update" of the elements of your book that have changed since 3.0 was released?

In particular, it appears that XMP sidecars can now be read by MediaPro, there is better/different Controlled Vocabulary support and there are several new features like "Dynamic Import" that may obviate or at least compress some of the "ingestion" activities.

Forgive me if you've covered this somewhere else, but I want to make sure I get the most out of your workflow as it relates to iVew MediaPro.

Yeah, it's a moving target.  Due to the rapid update cycle, I think it would be fiscally impossible to keep a book like mine current with iView.  It would be good, however, to have a place here to note which critical functions outlined in the book (like sidecars and star ratings) are difference since it was written.  It will have to take it's place on my very long to-do list...

Thanks Peter - I think that's all we can ask for given the scope of the information!

In lieu of an update to the book, perhaps we as users can share how we have used the new tools to our benefit. Any takers?
