After i run Rank and File a "date created" entry is generated in the IPTC Core that is one month behind the actual date
Example i run R&F on files today(04/29/2006) and the date generated in the "date created" field is 29/03/06 which of course is the incorrect date but also the incorrect format for that field.

When i import the files into IView then those files are attributed to the incorrect date in the Date Finder. Its not a huge deal, I just go back and correct it in bulk in Bridge and all is right with my universe again. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this, has any inkling as to why this is occurrring and how i might fix it?

Paulie,
I'll send you a different one later today.  I spoke to Tom about this last night and he put a new feature in, per a user's request.  It sets the IPTC date to the Media date created.  This is generally not going to be the right date for digital camera files.

I'll post instructions on how to fix this shortly.

Sorry for the confusion.
