Hello All:
I'm interested in doing Digital Camera Scans instead of using my Nikon Cool Scan 5000 ED.   I have read about camera scans in peters book and on this forum.  I have been looking for a decent priced Beseler Dual Mode Slide Duplicator on Ebay and Craigs List.  Recently, I came across a Bowens Illumitrans 3S Slide Copier someone has for sale.  Looking at the specs of the unit, It should do everything the Beseler can do, but I do not think it has color filtration.  My primary purpose for purchasing either unit is to do digital camera scans of my 35mm slide transparenices for my stock library.  I think the Bowens will do up to 6x7 trannies and Beseler will do 4X5.  Has anyone had any  experience with using the Bowens Illumitrans 3S Slide Copier.  I have an opportunity to purchase a Bowens unit for under $200 dollars.  I can purchase the camera body adapters and camera lens adapters for the bowens unit when I purchase the main unit.  I would appreciate any feed back on this subject.  Thanks
