Importing iView Media Pro keywords list to Photo Mechanic keywords list

I would like to import the keywords list in iView Media Pro to Photo Mechanic (so I don't have to start a new keywords list there, one keyword at a time). I know how to access the IVMP list and convert it into a Word file, but would like some help in how to import it into Phoo Mechanic. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Would it not be easier to do this?

1. put all IVMP keywords in one single 'helper' image
2. sync these keywords into the image itself
3. bring this image into Photo Mechanic
4. sync back the keywords from the image into the Photo Mechanic database
