hard drive question
«

Currently I work with macguru enclosures for my data. A reliable power supply and good cooling.
I now have a laptop and I'm thinking of adding a GLYPH portable hard drive to keep my working files on. The way I work I prefer to keep editing programs open so I prefer to always have access to the files.
Is relying on a portable hard drive, and leaving it on all the time, a good practice? (I have a daily backup system so everything gets backed up daily.)
thanx,
~Mark
