I'm looking for a way to take metadata (from MS SharePoint) which is now in excel and embedding it into about 5,000 photo files. I've been trying to do it with the importer feature in Portfolio, but I'm only getting a few fields to work. I'm not that familiar with Portfolio and the interface is fairly complicated, so I'm not sure if it really works or if I just have it set up wrong. What would be the best way to accomplish this? Are there any existing tools (I'm not a programmer, so I can't use EXIF tool. I may be willing to hire someone to do this, as I need to move the project along fairly soon. Any recommendations for programmers who are experts with EXIF tool? Other suggestions?
