Any need to backup previews?
«

I'm regularly backing up previews when I do my "mirrored" backups to another hard drive. But I'm noticing it takes forever, I guess because these are 1:1 previews. I suppose I could exclude these from the backup process and only occasionally back them up. How important are they anyway -- would it take forwever to rebuild (I do like to look through the catalog) How do others handle this? I am using Chronosync.
Thanks, Mary

No need whatsoever, Mary, and in fact every reason not to do so, as you've found. I never back them up, and Lightroom could rebuild them when it needs to do so.
