New Company - Cost-effective/efficient DAM Solution

Hello all,

I am hoping to gain some insight from more seasoned and experienced DAM users. I am looking for a cost effective and efficient DAM solution for a new marketing company with plans to upload thousands of graphic assets over an extended period of time. We do not have a large budget for this new software (for now, at least), so cost efficiency is a top priority.

Any insight, advice, and/or direction is greatly appreciated,
