An intermittent bug that caused multiple-card ingestions to occasionally quit prematurely with an error message has been fixed on both platforms.
These new versions have a maturity of “low”, but they’re actually pretty reliable, so go ahead and give them a try.

Maturity has been raised to Medium, since there have been many downloads with no problems reported.
