I've been renaming my images in Lightroom with Date and Time, as in YYYY-MM-DD-hh-mm-ss.
BUT, my shutter release mode is "continuous", so it's possible to have the exact same time down to the second.

Lightroom deals with this by adding a -1 to the name.

Does anyone have their own way of handling this? Maybe having a "fraction" of a second is too fussy...

how about instead of using ss, just use the original file number: YYYY-MM-DD-hh-mm-1234.ext and drop the seconds?

As an alternative - YYMMDD_001.etc  Is the hour and minute so vital?
