Has any one figured out how to use LR with Capture NX2 in a decent workflow?  When I have a lot of files to mindlessly process, I use LR.  But sometimes I use Capture NX2 on a few select files, and it gets confusing.

It'll always be confusing and awkward. The way I (occasionally) use NX2 is with my OpenDirectly plug-in for LR which launches the selected NEF directly in NX2. Save as TIF, and never enter any metadata in NX2 so there's no risk of conflict with LR-entered metadata.

John--that means that you do not save your NX2 edits back to the NEF file, or is it safe to do that?

I thought I did, but as I know they wouldn't be displayed in LR I then create a TIF. But I rarely use NX2.

Hopefully, the rumors about NX3 coming out this year aren't completely unfounded.
