Script needed to bring information from UserComment Field to Keyword field

Hello,
With my Nikon D90 it's possible to ad some annotations in the field, while photographing. These information, stored in the camera in 'Image Comment', is (according to ExifTool) stored in the ExifIFD field 'UserComment' (see screenshot).

I can not do anything with this information so the question is, can i move/copy this information into the Keyword or another (IPTC) field?
I'm using Bridge and EM2

Can you find that information in the Advanced view of Bridge's File Info panel? If so a Bridge script could copy it.

There might also be ways to copy using Exiftool, though the documentation ( http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/exiftool_pod.html#copying_examples ) is a bit heavy-going.

Yes, in bridge the info can be found in 'File Info' under Tab 'Advanced', section 'Schema (http://ns.adobe.dom/exif/1.0/), subsection 'exif:UserComment (see screenshot http://www.box.net/shared/px9p88hr67).

Indeed I did take a look of the exiftool examples but i'm no developer and this is to heavy for me...

OK, then have you modified any of my scripts? The filename to title one should be ideal. Essentially for each thumbnail there's a pair of commands, each of which sets the namespace before either getting or setting a field value. In this case, if you write to keywords you may have to insert a comma or semi-colon. A little trick is to use a line " alert(md.caption) ; " which would show the caption in a dialog box (don't have too many images in the folder when this is in your code).

I must admit, I've known about Exiftool for ages but was scared away by the documentation until I really needed it and then I got into some very obscure corners (thanks Roger Howard if you're reading).
