For some reason I am not able to "Preserve Original Name in Metadata" after runnig IFC.  I have the box checked and the Preserved Filename field does not show up in the metadata, if I use the Batch Rename in Bridge the field is there but not with IFC, I also took out the xmp from the Skip Files but still no luck, having no other problems, I sure would like to see this feautre working, any suggestions.

Gary

gary,
did you look in the advanced panel of File info?  It shows up here in the Media Management section.

Peter - do you know how to have IFC renaming script to read the XMP Media Managementg metadata field that has the preserve filename.  I want to retrieve those names and use them to rename my old files (that I renamed with content identifiers) in the correct fashion with the original file number.
