Transferring 15GB-20GB of RAW images from PC to Aperture in Mac

Hi,
I have a 12 MP camera. I can only recover 40% approx. of the deleted RAW image files from my Sandisk memory card. I want to try mwww.cnwrecovery.com which recovers fragmented files, but only for PCs. I have a Mac.

I also want to make sure I get the original large files - or close to that, which has not been the case with 2 out of 4 recovery software I already tried (they yielded files in the 200KB-600KB range.)

I can use a friend's PC but technical questions arise, i.e.:
a) which media is large enough to use for transferring 15GB-20GB, b) formatting of the media (PC/Mac), c) step-by-step precautions to take when transfering images from media to Mac (formatting, transfer location, etc.), and then to Aperture.

Apparently, according to Apple support, I have to proceed carefully and in a specific order.
