Hi Mark,
You can definitely share files between the two platforms. I can see why you'd want to seamlessly choose a file on the windows side and have it open a program on the Mac side for editing. I'm not sure that's possible, but I'll snoop around the web to see if anyone's done that & post back if I learn more.
