I've noticed an unusual problem with Bridge (or could it be Camera Raw?). When I open any recent work (it seems only to be affecting my last ingestion and the current one), it shows all the metadata in Bridge after I have applied a metadata template and keywords, whether it's a CR2 with sidecar file, or a converted DNG file. But if I open either of these files into Photoshop, only the Camera metadata is showing in File Info. I've opened old files, and they show the metadata. How would it disappear on the way to Photoshop? Any ideas? We are talking CS4 here.

Geoff,
I have seen this when there is a blank date in the IPTC Date Created Field.
Can you make a new metadata template with only a few items and see if it still happens.

The Bridge metadata parsing engine and the one in Photoshop are different.  The one in Photoshop is pickier about syntax.
