I'm attempting to update my Archive from last year and when I import the the image files I get an error message that says, "Cannot Import unicode file: DSC_2444.jpg"  and it lists all of the bad files, (800 files)

OK great, so 800 of the 128800 couldn't be imported but what happened to the other 128000?? Those other files didn't get imported either?Huh The catalog is still empty...

I do not know how to get past this and I am not having much luck finding an answer... I looked through some of the post on your forum and no luck. Does anyone have an answer? How to I Expression Media 2 to by pass those files and catalog the rest of the images.

Thank you!

Mark,
Sorry to be late here - been busy.

I'm not sure what you are describing. Let's start at the beginning.  Do you have 128,000 files in a catalog?  Or are you dropping 128,800 files on a catalog at once?

I have found that most catalogs top out at 50,000-70,000 due to catalog size growing larger than 1.8 GB (the catalog size limits).
