Peter,

In my opinion, most photography books have a lot of filler and a little bit of real content In many cases, like other technical books, they are written because the publisher feels they need to fill a niche. This is obviously not the case with The DAM Book. It is absolutely one of the best photography or technical books I have read! Your book not only increased my knowledge of digital asset management and work flow, it changed the way I view and now approach these topics. You not only understand the concept of a system and how all the parts and pieces fit together, you are able to convey that understanding to your readers. As an author of several technical books myself I understand what a challenge this is.

Thank you very much for writing this.

Patrick

PS: I am not in the habit of writing fan mail, but I am now officially a fan of your work!

Patrick,
Thanks for the note. It makes the long work of writing worthwhile, which I assume you have some familiarity with.
Which Patrick Corrigan are you? The LAN guy, neurologist, cartoonist or psychologist?
Amazon reviews always welcome...
