Peter,

Just read your Icons of Imaging profile for the first time http://www.microsoft.com/prophoto/icons/krogh/bio.aspx.  Inspiring to say the least.

Can you briefly offer us any examples of how you are "leveraging the picture for more than just the picture", that is making a difference in your business?

Thanks,
Dan

A bio on Microsoft? Looks like Peter uses a "Dell XPS M1210 Laptop".

Peter uses lots of computers...
;-)
While I do really like the Dell for features and size, I also use the Lenovo W700DS, which is a great desktop portable (not a laptop unless you are Andre the Giant.)

As to the leverage quote, that refers to the new market realities where I think that it's important to learn to make finished products from pictures (for many photographers). Write, do web design, learn multimedia... It's not going to b enough to simply deliver finished images for many people - photography will be one skillset used by communicators.
