Is there a pdf or some way to print out the help topics? I want a hard copy guide I can refer to.

Thanks,

Well, it turns out that there IS no user's guide to EM2 but Anita at the EM forum pointed me toward the EM1 file with a suggestion for how to update the contents.
She said:

"You can download the user guide for V1 from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=DD27D551-AFDA-41B2-9332-CE958ABE7435&displaylang=en. Then just print out the help for new features. That would probably be the easiest way to go about what you want, since V2 uses strictly the help files."

Hi Gib,

An oft asked question on the Microsoft forum. As you discovered the answer is no for Expression Media 2. I wonder if Shayne Bowman's book is out yet?

This may seem like a shameless plug, but I whole heartedly recommend Peter's Expression Media 2 workshop. He goes over most if not all of the functions and capability of the program for DAM, and you get hands on working of the program while you do it. You bring your laptop, you work on your files and catalog, and you come away with a much better understanding. If you are at all able to make one of these workshops (he just announced a new schedule) I would take it. I did it in May, and it was completely worth the travel and lack of sleep. You also have a great lunch.

Peter may have some videos coming out later this year on this. I would imagine he might tape part of these classes, and then make it into a video. I would think that also would be better than the manual or a book.
