GPS Data after the fact with iView

I have a handful of files that are massive stitched files of panoramas and want to add some GPS coordinates into the metadata after the fact.  Anyone have any experience doing this in iView after the fact?

You can't do it with iView. Look at Geosetter on PC or HoudahGeo on Mac, or you can do it with exiftool if you're geeky.

John, you can't do it with iView, but can you do it with Lightroom/Aperture? Or is it just a specialty utilty kind of thing?

But even those programs (and EM) only add to the half-supported IPTC space for the GPS. The utilities add it directly to the EXIF, as well as being dedicated to the task - try Geosetter or Houdah.

Let me add that Geosetter's developer is a really nice guy [so, no, it's not me], who cares for his customers. You can see - and read with teh help of an on-line translation tool - a bit of Geosetter at my place.

Thanks. I'm an Apple guy, so I downloaded HoudahGeo. So many steps. Do any of you guys know if EM has a v3 future at Microsoft? With the HoudahGeo step, I'd hate to have to start over again with a workflow in another year...
