Hi Peter,

could you elaborate on the validated transfer software available for PC?

In the book I believe you call out Acronis and Syncback...I will download and test Syncback, but I'm not sure which Acronis product, is it True Image?  I have that and it appears it's only going to make proprietary compressed backups for me...

Which version of Syncback do you use?  The free version which is just called SyncBack I think, or SyncBackSE or SyncBack Pro?

I don't think you can get the free version any more - just SE and Pro (I use Pro).

Does the free version of Syncback support 64bit Windows 7?  The documentation made it seem as if you have to upgrade to Syncback SE for that.
