I went ahead and purchased GBM Backup manager pro 7.0 after reading various posts on this forum. (Thanks for the advice BTW) I'm just getting to grips with the program now and have made a rather worrying discovery which I hope somebody can solve for me.

When I start a backup job and go to - What to backup/My profile and click on my profile and select - My photos, not all of the folders from my main image folder are showing up in the selection pane on the right and I can't see any sign of the RAW files - either CR2 or DNG's. Only JPEGS and TIFS are showing up - it seems as though GBM cannot see these folders.

I hope somebody can tell me where I'm going wrong as I have been very impressed with GBM so far though have somewhat lost confidence in it now.

Thanks for any help.

Simon,

I'm using GBM Pro 7 for my backups as well. It has no problems with RAW files (NEF and DNG for me). I back up my pictures using mirroring; I don't know if that makes a difference or not. What type of backup are you trying to run? Have you tried running a test backup?

Simon,

You need to click on the "My Folders" tab and peruse down to your Raw files folders and select them.  The "My Profile" tab is for your profile information, such as Internet Favorites, Desktop icons, Registry, etc.
