Adobe DNG Connverter yielding some blue cast on photos

Having some interesting effects being applied to files by Adobe DNG converter.
Shooting with Canon 5dMK II, in RAW, applying the steps (bulk adjustments,
etc.), and then set DNG converter to work. About 25% of the resulting DNG files
have a very strong blue cast to them, like blue was turned WAY up in the sliders.
Yet, when I have ACR convert them, I never get this problem.

Brian,
You have not given enough information to figure out what's going on:
Download with what software?
Are image adjustments applied? With what software?
If Bridge, does a badge appear on the thumbnail?
What application is seeing the Blue? Do proprietary raw and DNG look different?
What version of ACR?

Hi Peter,
sure thing, here goes:
I manually pull the files (Canon CR.2 files from 5DMKII) from the card
to the working folder, then apply bulk settings in Bridge, which
include auto blacks, +20 vibrance, sharpening to 65, etc.,
then I apply bulk metadata, then batch rename, all manually, one step
at a time. I wait for Bridge to complete the thumbnail updates before the next step.
No badge on the thumbnail in bridge, just a ......while the thumbnails update.
The images look fine in bridge. Then, when using Adobe DNG converter, I convert
to DNG, and store those in my Originals drive. I drop the folder of DNGs to
Expressions Media, where some of the images look blue, no real logic to which ones,
but about 20/25% do. If I open any of those files in PS, the opened file is bluish.
However, when I convert using ACR, and make the DNGs, no color shifts showing
in Expressions, or when the actual files are opened in PS.

Brian,
So it seems as though some of the files have lost all their settings?
Have they lost all ACR settings?
Are you applying metadata templates to any images in Bridge?
Have the blue files also, by any chance, lost other metadata?
Are you using DNG converter 5.3?
It is totally repeatable? (IOW, you can get the same results with the same files each time)
If it is repeatable, does making an adjustment to the file in Camera Raw fix that file?
