Hi All,

I have gotten all the bugs out of the import from camera, but am having problems with the Rename on Import Before box as it insists on grabbing the Adobe bridge cache.bc so I don't see the orginal filename on my files so it insists on the same extension when renaming.

Thanks for any help,
Johnna

PS. Peter this book is great--just what I needed!

Johnna,
Thanks for the nice words.  That cache thing is a problem (small though).  I generally use the script before the images have been seen in Bridge, so I don't run across the problem.

And, if by chance there are Bridge cache files in the folder (i.e., I am using IFC to rename older images to bring them into line with the new naming system), just trash those cache files before running the script. And, of course, make sure that Bridge is not targeting that folder when you choose IFC, otherwise there'll be new cache files there.

THANK YOU!!!
I knew this was a simple problem. I would delete the scripts but kept uploading in bridge so the problem persisted.
