I have previews set to high quality, still there is the brief delay from fuzzy to clear even after the wheel is done spinning and everything is settlled. What is this?
Don't remember it in CS3. thanks!

I'd say that is the time Bridge needs to render the image.

This delay never existed in CS3 or CS2

Which high-quality setting are you using - "On Demand" or "Always?" If set to "On Demand," switch to "Always" to eliminate the delay.

Scott, thanks, I'm on 'Always'

The delay is somtimes improved by scrolling up and down with the tool bar. But its' very annoying.

Could it be because I'm on an older G5 computer?

Maybe CS4 bridge requies  faster computer than CS3 Bridge
