Hello - not sure in which discussion to post this question:

I received a batch of photos from a friend with the wrong date time stamp (off by a couple of years/months). I wanted to fix by editing the exif (just to get an approximate year/month). Can't edit these fields with Bridge CS4 - though I can easily see the dates I would change when I look at File Info.

Could someone recommend an exif editor, or a way I can do this with Bridge or Photoshop?

Thanks.

Rebecca,
Bridge/PS won't let you do this.

Do you have an asset manager like Lightroom, Expression Media, idImager, or other?

You could also use EXIFtool, but it's a little geeky.

If you don't have an asset manager and are working on a Mac... A Better Finder Attributes is an easy way to do this.

Bob and Peter,

I should have stated I'm using XP SP3. I don't have any asset management software, but I am on the verge of getting Expressions Media. I will take a look at EXIFtool. My husband has a Mac so I'll have him take a look at A Better Finder Attributes.

Thanks for the suggestions.
