I currently use Iview, but thinking about now buying the updated Expression Media2.  As described in the DAM book, I keep one archive of all my "master" raw files, and a separate archive with derivative files (PDS, TIFF, JPG).  I use the the MetaSync application with Iview to "copy" or synchronize annotations, metadata, etc. between my two archives.  Can anyone tell me if EM2 provides for this capability, or, alternatively, will MetaSync work with EM2?

Thanks for advice

Funny you should ask this! I've just updated MetaSync to work with EM2 and posted it for download. The version that works with both MediaPro 3 and EM2 is 1.5.4. You can download it here

Scott - Thanks for the update on Metasync.  This is exactly what I was looking for with EM2.  Any concerns you or Peter have regarding moving from Iview to EM2?

Thanks.

John,
After the release of SP1, I feel very comfortable with the switch from iView.  I had not made the full commitment to the program until then.

Ditto Scott,

I've use MetaSync a few times, and it is a great utility.  Thanks!

Cheers, Josh
