I found this page while looking for support on the serial number issue I posted a few days ago.  Essentially it says that virtually anyone is now eligible for upgrade pricing.  You just have to own ANY imaging app.  iPhoto qualifies.

I haven't seen this posted here and figured someone considering an Expression Media purchase might want to know...

Well, how's that for being inclusive?
The Expression team is very eager to get people using the software.  There are a number of offers out there, including some great bundles with Capture 1. There are some attractive academic programs as well.

(And, on the Mac side, Expression is part of one of the Office Suite, Special Media Edition, so if you are upgrading Ofice, take a look at that.)

I like the part where it says who is eligible

Who is eligible to purchase?
 Non-Academic (General Public)
 Non-Profit Organizations

It reminds me of my friend Christopher Shorb's group, the Alemates - "Members and all others only".  (Yes, I had to read it a few times before I got it.)

Anyone should feel free to post good incentives here when they find them.

That reminds me of the old Groucho Marx comment (paraphrasing):

I wouldn't join any club that would have me as a member.

iPhoto is one of the apps that qualifies for upgrade pricing, so pretty much any Mac user qualifies. I just bought it myself. They aren't very strict in qualifying the upgrade.
