Losing Preview in Bridge CS4

I've noticed that when I hit the spacebar to see a full screen rendering of my thumbnails and then hit the spacebar again to return back to my thumbnails, I lose my preview when attempting to view the other thumbnails. The only way I can get the preview back is to switch views (i.e. filmstrip, lighttable, etc.). I have this problem even with a freshly cached directory of Raw files. Anybody else experiencing this problem. I'm running under WindowsXP.

I have 3 saved layouts activated by "buttons" in the upper right corner of the Bridge CS4 window. Two are custom: One has a large Preview Pane in the center with a vertical filmstrip on the right; the second has thumbnails in a large Content Pane in the center with Metadata/Preview tabs in the right pane. The third button activates the Essentials preset (I can't swear that I didn't make some change to this default preset.)
I am running Mac OSX 10.5.5. After activating full screen with the space bar and hitting the space bar again, everything returned to the way it was before activating full screen. This is true for all 3 saved layouts.

Mark,
My guess is this is unique to Windows.

Looks like I fixed this problem. I had to select "Software Rendering" in the Bridge preferences. I have the latest nVidia graphics card drivers installed for my 8800 GTS card, but there must be an incompatibility under Windows.

On second thought, Software Rendering is not the answer. You must have hardware acceleration to see the 100% previews and review mode in real time. A quick workaround though is to grab the preview pane and resize it slightly.
