Hi,

I just downloaded EM2 SP1 trial. I can open and view my existing IVMP catalogs with no apparent problem. However, when I close a catalog I am prompted with an alert asking if I wish to save my changes. Since I did not change anything I am wondering what EM2 is doing to my catalogs and if it will make them incompatible with IVMP.

tks, louie

Ok I answered my own question. I noticed that my keywords were missing from EM2 so while looking for them and found them in the Application Support -> iView -> Plug-ins -> Vocabulary folder. I also found the Option Sets folder for my saved view options.

After I copied both the Vocabulary and Option Set folder into the Expression Media 2 ->Plugin-ins folder I can open and close iVew 3 catalogs without getting the do you want to save your changes.

It would have been polite EM2 to notify you when it opened a catalog that the view option in the catalog was not defined.

Just an addendum for others that may finally decide to upgrade from IVMP 3 there are other items in the Plug-ins folder that you may want to copy. For example I also copied my scripts although I have yet to test them.
