Marc- what is the easiest way to "sync" presets, templates, etc between Mac desktop and laptop?

I have almost the same question. I'm wondering if I can copy my presets from my Mac laptop to a Windows machine easily. I won't be doing the regularly...its just that I'm playing around with learning II on my laptop but the real machine I'll use for ingesting is a windows desktop. If I get things all set up on my mac, will the work be lost?

thanks,

Dave,
copy the IIP templates and database from one machine to another

Username>Library>application support>ImageIngester

and

Username>Library>Preferences>ImageIngester

You will probably need to reset relative locations, like of the primary/backup folders, as well as where the applications are.

I was reading the II documentation as I posted my question above, but I hadn't read all the way to the end. I just got to the end and found the answer to Dave's question and half of mine. I'm still not sure if the presets will transfer to XP, but it will be very easy to give it a try.

BTW, thanks Marc for VERY thorough documentation.

As Peter has said, the presets and templates will transfer OK. Path names won't be meaningful, but they are easily changed.
