Hi Phil

Thank You for Your test!

Can You tell me what exact command line arguments You used and on which Exiftools release please? I will now download the latest (7.45 for Win) and retry to discover the problem on my systems. Maybe the command line I used wasn't the requested one.

Thank You again!

I used my current development version (7.47 beta), but nothing has changed in the ORF code since 7.45.

The commands I used were:

Code:
exiftool -thumbnailimage -b FILE.orf > out.jpg

Code:
exiftool -datetimeoriginal -createdate -a -G1 FILE.orf

I also took a look at the file structure with

Code:
exiftool -htmldump FILE.orf > out.html

and I didn't see any unextracted JPEG images hiding anywhere in the file.

- Phil

Code:
exiftool -thumbnailimage -b FILE.orf > out.jpg

Hi Phil

I verified that I was using JpgFromRaw with -b that doesn't work. Using ThumbnailImage -w or -b works as expected.

What is the exact use of the JpgFromRaw tag?

Thank You for Your help.
