As promised a few days ago, I've just uploaded Version 3.1.01 for OS X. Instead of a card reader next to your computer, you can now have this:

Click here for details. I hope to have the Windows version ready by the end of next week.

Wow, can't wait to try this out!  Eagerly anticipating the windows version.

I saw your performance comparisons on downloading in serial vs parallel....have you tried this on a RAID?  I would think that's where you might see significant improvements downloading many at once.

Thanks for continuing to innovate,

Andris

Andris--

Do you mean RAID for the primary or backup folders?

If so, only so-called "RAID-0" would have a benefit. But that just means that the drive is faster.

True, I suppose you're right.  I was thinking of the difference in multi-card ingestions on our capture tower with internal SATA RAID 5, and on our capture laptop importing to an external USB 2.0 drive:  Huge benefit on the tower, very little benefit on the laptop

Of course the difference is the SATA, not the RAID.  Silly me.
