Some of you may remember a free little application I wrote some time ago called GPS2Aperture, which would show the GPS position of a Version in Google Earth, and also write GPS positions back into Aperture.
This has now been updated to be compatible with Aperture 2. Rather than the old (and rather risky) approach of directly editing the Aperture database, GPS2Aperture now uses EXIFTool to embed the GPS data directly in the Master file and uses the new 'Update EXIF from Master' command to update the information in Aperture.
GPS2Aperture should work with Aperture 1.5.6, but won't allow you to set GPS positions as older versions of Aperture will not make updates to EXIF data.
