I used to use ExplorerPlus, but it is no longer supported.  It also had some minor bugs in it.  I recently started using this http://www.gpsoft.com.au/Intro.html, and it is much more robust and extensive.  I highly recommend it as a replacement for the crude Windows built-in Explorer.  It has full EXIF support and built-in preview support for my CR2's and DNG's.  It has a good support forum too http://resource.dopus.com/.

I too had ExplorerPlus.  Alas it only existed for XP and I upgraded to Vista as a dual-boot with XP.  I got a great upgrade offer for Opus so I did.  I have been very happy the 2 weeks using it and with time will dig further into it's bowels, but just as an Explorer replacement alone it was worth it.
