I am using Chronosync on a mac setup and would like to be able to sync without making duplicates.  All the drives are LaCie.  I don't seem to be able to get the software to recognize that the destination drive already has some of the files to be transferred from the portable. It's making redundant backups and I need to figure out a solution for this problem.  There are way too many files to go through the folders and files individually.

Please help.

Andy,
I keep all files to be backed up in a single folder. I point Chronosync at the folder, and have it duplicate to a folder on another drive.  It will only make one copy.

Thanks Peter, I'll see if that helps. The issue is the client really has no structure to the way his files are placed.  He shoots several different camera formats per set and things get tossed around. It's madness really.
