RAW files and keywords
«

My photographer recently started shooting everything raw and I discovered a problem. When I import the raw images into iView, keyword, and sync back to the original file the keywords aren't transfering. This means when I import the converted jpegs they don't have any keywording. Help!

Good evening Eleanor,
What camera RAW format is your photographer shooting? Have you considered converting to DNG earlier in your workflow to get around your metadata issue, despite the time involved with re-rendering DNG thumbnails?

My photographer uses a Fugi S5 and the raw files all have the extension raf. Currently we don't convert to a dng just a jpg. Is it normal for key words not to sync to raw files?
